Greg has recently completed his 21st year of coaching football. After completing his college career at Tennessee Wesleyan College where he played Defensive Back, he graduated with a BS degree in Social Studies Education.
Coach Vandagriff became a Graduate Assistant at Tennessee Tech University in 1990. During that time he learned to coach while serving as the Defensive GA and coached outside Linebackers. On the staff,

coaching Defensive Line was current Head Coach of the Atlanta Falcons Mike Smith and Running Back Coach Gerald Brown.

Greg has coached former and current professional players: Stefan Lefors (NFL and CFL QB), Michael Clayton (NFL WR Tampa) and Rashaun Matthews (NFL Europe Defensive Player of the Year).

Greg is also a major speaker for Glazier Clinics.

Currently Coach Vandagriff is the Defensive Coordinator at Woodward Academy and his defenses have only given up an average of 11 points per game over the past three years.
